I got five days off this weekend, and originally the plan was to trip to PA and see my uncle's new palacial mansion, however, that plan got nixed. Instead, he was supposed to visit us. Nothing doing there either, so I got all this time off and nothing to do with it. Doesn't help that I got saddled with unforseen bills and I have little money to play with.
Oh well, Florida calls next month. I'm finally going to meet Sean and Minka, to say nothing of a long, relaxing road trip before and after. Looking forward to that is all that keeps me sane right now in an insane world of WalMart and such. This little adventure is going to do me a world of good. It's too bad Sean will not be around much, but there's nothing either of us can do about it, so we'll have to make the best of the time we get.
Today was a big waste. Eight hours in a rare day excursion with the parents, and nothing was accomplished except the urge to repaint this room, which will undoubtedly take months to get done like everything else around here. If I didn't have five days to blow like this I'd be mad at myself for not listening to my instincts and following in my own car instead of tagging along in theirs.
Enough bitching. I'm out, G-Units.

They keep looking at me. The sand monkeys!
Cousin's coming in tomorrow with her boyfriend, I have no idea what he's like, so therefore I have to assume the worst and stock a gun in the glove compartment of my car since we'll probably be driving everywhere. Which reminds me that I need to clean that old shitbucket out, I think I still have those old chips from months ago spilled all over the back seat. I hope it doesn't rain today, otherwise that task will prove to be much more of a pain in the ass than it should be. They'll be here tomorrow morning about this time, I wish they could come today as my little hiatus from work will end before their visit does, but oh well, life's a bitch and then she divorces you.
Played Silent Hill 2 again yesterday. Got the Dog ending. I can't remember the last time a game so enthralled me that I could play it time and time again for years.
That'll do for now, I suppose. Keep it tuned to this station for up-to-the-minute bulletins updating yourself on my extraordinarily ordinary life. Ciao.
